Ivorique Turner, DO
As the former Assistant Chief Medical Officer of the Jacksonville VA Outpatient Clinics, Dr. Turner had an amazing opportunity to serve our nation’s veterans as both a physician and administrator. Now, as the CEO and Medical Director of a minority-, woman-, and veteran-owned small business, she has an ongoing mission to improve access to health care for veterans.
Dr. Turner is a board-certified family medicine physician and 15-year U.S. Navy veteran with combat experience. She is excited to serve her fellow veterans, delivering the quality health care they deserve. Trained by the best in Navy medicine at the Naval Medical Center San Diego and Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, Dr. Turner’s clinical skills are well rounded and include aspects of pediatrics, internal medicine, and obstetrics/gynecology.
Dr. Turner is most proud of her reputation for having an impeccable bedside manner, with both patients and colleagues, for which she has received numerous awards for providing outstanding customer service. A physician with instilled core values of honor, courage, and commitment, Dr. Turner is prepared to work hard to exceed her patients’ expectations of quality health care and exceptional customer service.
Dexter Turner, Chief Operations Officer, CPMM, CCNA, CSE
As a former VA biomedical engineer, and the proud spouse of a U.S. Navy veteran, Dexter Turner is committed to his role of providing support to veterans and their families.
He has 25 years of manager, director, executive-level clinical engineering, and operations experience with top Fortune 500 companies and hospitals across the U.S. He has also directed and managed imaging services for equipment manufacturers and major hospital systems across the nation.
Dexter is an executive-level director with vast experience working with equipment manufacturers and in-hospital systems. He is proud to deliver new business procedures and medical technology advancements that can meet the needs of our veterans.
Our Nurse Practitioners
Steve Seals, MSN, FNP-BC
Steve Seals, MSN, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner who is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and Florida Board of Nursing. He has several years of nursing experience in geriatrics, orthopedics, and emergency nursing. Steve received his master's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and his undergraduate degree from Northwest Florida State College. He is currently completing his doctor of nursing practice at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Sarah Brown, DNP-BC
Sarah Brown is an adult nurse practitioner, board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and currently licensed to practice in the state of Florida. Sarah began her career in nursing in 2000 and holds a doctor of nursing degree from Chatham University. Her experience includes family practice, women’s health, and wound care. She is currently teaching master’s-level nurse practitioner students in a virtual learning platform. Sarah is a member of the local nurse practitioner network in her home state of Florida and is published in a peer-reviewed journal for her work related to medication adherence in elders.
